Open letter to members and non-members
JUNE 7, 2020 OLNEY SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED
DUE TO COVID 19.
As restriction are being eased, I hope those who have been separate from their equine partners have been able to see and love on them again. Even get up in the saddle taking a stroll around the ring.
While closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, the USEF and USDF as of May 31 (11:59 PM) the suspension on recording of results for all USEF/USDF dressage competitionsb and dressage schooling shows will expire. Please go to appropriate websites USEF, www.usef.org and USDF , www.usdf.org
to read the letters to the memberships in their entirity.
I sit here looking over suggestions of safety measures for the "new normal" being put forth by USEF, USDF, MDA board members and our schooling show committee. Once these measures are compiled they will be pass on to you our members, and the competitors so that we may be ready to move forward in our show season when the restrictions allow "organized horse activites".
These safety measures are to keep not only you the competitors safe but our volunteers, judges, and the farm owners , the school and county facilites who graciously allow
us to hold shows at their location.
We ask that you be patient and as we work with the facilities on these safety measures.
In the mean time MDA is looking forward to the " coming out party" and are still
