Show Management Positions:
Entry Secretary (4 Work Credits and 2 Free Ride Vouchers)
- Receive and process entries
- Utilize a prepared spreadsheet to organize your show (Excel or Google Docs)
- Form classes, create a show schedule, and assign bridle numbers and ride times
- Submit ride times for posting on the website
- Make necessary arrangements to pick-up and return the Secretary Box of supplies you will need
- Make necessary arrangements to pick-up and return the ribbons
- Assemble rider packets
- Assemble the clipboards for the Judge and Scribe
- Pull the test sheets to be ridden and organize them according to the show schedule - this goes to the Scribe
- Pull one of each test being ridden - this goes to the Judge
- Communicate with the judge regarding the actual start time and any preferences she may have about scheduling ride times (ex: she may request extra time to speak to each rider)
- Prepare score sheets and a scoreboard
- Communicate with the Organizer
- Ideally you should be present on the day of the show to run the Secretary Booth and handle any issues that may arise
- Submit scores for posting on the website
- Complete the required show paperwork

Organizer (4 Work Credits and 2 Free Ride Vouchers)
- Recruit volunteers and assign jobs (generally volunteers contact you)
- Communicate with the Entry Secretary
- Distribute Work Credits to volunteers, yourself, and the Entry Secretary
- Make necessary arrangements to pick-up and return the arena chain, letters, tables and chairs (mileage is reimbursed if the arena is hauled more than 20 miles one way)
- Provide lunch (you will be reimbursed)
- Communicate with the Judge regarding food/snack/drink preferences
- Be present on the day of the show to supervise and assist volunteers
- Pay the Judge (the Treasurer will send you a check which is filled out ahead of time)
- Set up the show arena and judge's trailer/pop-up tent the day before and take down after the show
- Complete the required show paperwork
